A New Modmath Enterprise Coming This Summer!
We're excited to announce a brand new version of Modmath Enterprise, and it's coming to the web this summer! We will share more about the exact launch as we get closer. If you have not already make sure you sign up for our newsletter to stay updated.
We've built a full enterprise web app with a lot of new features, including organization-wide deployment, standard distribution paths for Google and Apple environments, and flexible payment options including credit card, ACH, purchase orders, and invoicing.
For IT admins, it takes a few minutes to set up and deploy, and students will launch Modmath from whatever device they use.
Easy Enterprise Distribution
Modmath Enterprise for web is a full web application. It runs natively in the browser with no download required. Students can access the app on any device with a modern browser including Chromebooks, iPads, Windows PCs, or Android tablets.
For schools who use Google admin, the app is pushed silently to every managed Chromebook by your IT administrator and appears in the Chrome shelf.
For Apple schools, Modmath is deployed as a web clip on iPads and MacOS devices via Apple School Manager.
For learning centers and organizations without managed devices, students navigate to the app’s website and sign in. This means that no app store access is required.
How Licensing & Purchasing Works
Modmath for Schools is sold as a single license per organization, priced by seat count, and billed annually. A seat is a named student slot. Your license includes a fixed number of seats that you purchase, and you control exactly which students fill them via the Modmath admin site. Seats are reusable, which means you can deactivate a student and their seat is immediately available for reassignment.
Once the app is released, to get started you’ll fill out the enterprise signup form at modmath.com/enterprise-distribution. We'll follow up with a quote based on your desired number of seats. Then, you'll receive a payment link and after payment, you'll get access to the Modmath admin site where you can manage your seat count and provision students.
For Schools Already Using Modmath Enterprise
If your school previously purchased Modmath through Apple School Manager (ASM), your license is fully honored in the new system. Your lifetime seats carry over exactly as purchased, which means they are reusable, with no expiration and no additional cost.
The original Modmath app will remain available on the App Store but will no longer be actively developed. All new features, improvements, and support are in the new web app. We recommend migrating when it's convenient for your organization, there is no deadline.
If your student enrollment has grown beyond your original seat count, additional seats are available at current annual pricing.
About Student Data
Modmath Enterprise is fully compliant with FERPA and COPPA. Student data is never used for advertising, and we collect only what is necessary to run the service. You can read more about the data we collect and how we use it at modmath.com/privacy-policy.
